How would you best describe your style?
I like to document what is happening without altering it. This is called documentary photography. In addition, I'm very much focused on the emotions and the emotional moments of people and moments. This allows me to tell an actual story.
Black and white, what is your process?
I process all images myself without the use of presets. I like to edit to achieve a look similar to old school film photography, like Kodak Tri-Max. In a nutshell, I go for strong contrast between black and whites.
Do you have back-up equipment?
Yes, I regularly shoot with two cameras and both cameras have dual SD card for backup of the images. Have multiple lenses that works in both cameras so if something goes wrong, I can swap quick and easily.
How long have you been a wedding photographer?
Since less than 2 years. At the moment I have photographed just two weddings. But I have been a photographer in genera for more than 10 years.
How many images will we receive?
You can expect anywhere between 40 and 80 images per hour of coverage. The actual final number depends on multiple factor beyond my control, such as location, guests and your own planning.
Do you do group photographs?
Yes. Although I prefer to shoot candid, if you want family portraits this can be agreed.
Do you do posed couple portraits and if so, when?
I prefer not to, because is not natural. but If that's what you wish, it can be agreed. The details are to be discussed based on location, your own wishes and the time of the day.
Are you bilingual?
Tri-Lingual. Spanish is my mother tongue, and I speak fluent English and Italian. I understand Dutch most of the time and can speak the bare minimum.
Will our photos be in colour, black and white, or a mix?
A mix of black and white. As an estimation, think of 60-70% in black and white of highly emotional moments, and 30-40% of color mainly for the ceremony and portraits.
Do you provide retouching, color adjustment, or other corrective services?
Yes, up to 10 photographs free of charge.
How will we receive our photos?
Digitally via an online gallery. This includes High Resolution as well as images optimized for Social Media.
How do we go about printing our images?
You can print as much as you want for personal use. I deliver high resolution photos that can achieve very large print formats. My online gallery includes an online store for convenience where you can order prints and albums directly from your wedding gallery.
Can you recommend a vendor for printing our photos ourselves?
Of course, upon consultation and knowing what you want I can recommend couple of options for optimal results.
